Sustainability within asset structures

In 2015 the United Nations (UN) adopted the 2030 Agenda with 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with the goal of triggering sustainable development. In doing so, the UN started a global megatrend. Here in Liechtenstein, sustainability has long been a core value. Why is that?

Understanding sustainability comprehensively

The Liechtenstein financial centre has always had a tradition of long-term wealth preservation for the benefit of future generations. The Liechtenstein trust industry is a central pillar of this tradition. The establishment, implementation, and management of asset structures via legal entities such as foundations, trusts and other corporate forms create the elementary basis for sustainable assets. After all, assets that are to be preserved and managed according to a defined purpose, strike a balance between ecological, economic and social sustainability.

Sustainability at Industrie- und Finanzkontor

To build asset structures, we always look at a client’s assets from an objective and comprehensive overall perspective. Not only the tangible assets are relevant, but also the intangible assets and long-term ideas of our clients, which in many cases take into account several family generations. With our comprehensive approach we strive to ensure that an asset structure can function by itself in the long term. Thanks to our origins, we draw on our experience of how assets and values can be sustainably secured.
